Wildflower Florist of San Clemente

I am so excited to share my new find, Wildflower Florist of San Clemente.  Sandra Moran purchased this store about 4 years ago, but it has been in operation since 1979!  Pretty impressive!  I just loved walking around this place.

I thought since it's been around so long that some of the design might be a bit dated, but boy was I wrong.  They are heavy on the succulent design, which I find so refreshingly modern, but I also L-O-V-E succulents, because they last so long.  As a gardener, they add sculptural interest without heavy work on my part, so it is a win-win.  They offer traditional arrangements, wedding design and more.  I felt like I walked onto the front page of Pinterest

They also had a good sized (5-6 feet) fiddle leaf fig tree in the store that was multi-branched, I am so bummed that I didn't buy it when I saw it, because I went back last week to nab some pics and it was gone.  Do you know how hard it is to find a multi-branched fiddle leaf fig tree?  Well, let's just say my search continues.

Their floral designer, Alyssa, has a great eye, I'll do another post and show you some of her wedding work.  She helped us out at a charity event and her terrarium arrangement was simply stunning.  Here's some pics of the place for your enjoyment!

They are located in San Clemente just off the 5 at El Camino Real.

You can buy the individual air plants and put them pretty much anywhere around the house

This was an arrangement Alyssa had just finished, she makes this arrangement each week for a Peruvian restaurant.

Great books on succulents and more, very fresh!

Hanging terrarium with air plant.

Handmade, knitted giraffe made out of 100% wool by Kenyans.

Hindu Air Rope plant, very unique and very different.

Succulents in mason jars for table numbers, very creative idea!

Great basket of succulents, eye candy !

This is so cool, this antique door holds the succulents, then you can write your seating chart on it.

This is the second time I've smelled these Volcano candles, I am going to get this next time I'm in, they smell amazing.

These just cracked me up....Scandle Candles...

That's the end of my photo journey :)
